PhibroWood's manufacturing production is co-located on sites where our sister company, Phibro-Tech, Inc., has access to inexpensive copper, available through its ability to recycle most forms of copper. Phibro-Tech is one of only 3 companies in the United States with the permits to perform this type of recycling, and none of the other preservative manufacturers has this ability. PhibroWood is committed to passing along its copper cost advantage to its customers. PhibroWood is also the only wood preservative manufacturer that produces its own Copper Carbonate. PhibroWood and Phibro-Tech, have been producing Copper Carbonate for over 20 years and continue to do so in both Sumter, South Carolina and Santa Fe Springs, California. This gives PhibroWood a competitive advantage that will also be passed to its customers.
